Ampland has now been around for almost a decade. In Internet terms, we got here on day one. As a result, Ampland has turned into the equivalent of McDonald’s for porn surfers (except we don’t charge and we offer firmer, and possibly stickier buns), In the nine-plus years since we opened the door, over a billion people have stopped by Ampland for the best adult links on the Net. A big part of the reason we keep growing is that we try (really hard sometimes) to give you the best of what you are looking for. When other sites were pissing the world off with pop-ups and blind linking strategies, we kept it clean. And you have rewarded us with the most loyal following anywhere.

McBlah
So earlier this year, we decided to launch our own blog. We would have done it sooner, but the adult blogs we saw out there seemed to just be ads and come-ons for pay sites with almost no fucking real information on anything, and nowhere near enough pictures. Sort of like a lame TGP site, We just didn’t see how it made other sites any better. But the staff said we needed one, so I said to go ahead. We cherry-picked links to the better galleries and video,.and threw in some comments, and Amp’s blog was born. It still didn’t make sense to me, but staff said it was the thing to do (everybody’s doing it) so up it went. And there it sat. I still thought it was just a mini-link list with parsley.

McBlog
After six months I was convinced I was right, and decided to clear up my staff infection and do a little barn cleaning. So I rolled up my sleeves and sat down in front of the blog. Now it has fresh, daily content beyond the standard “here’s a couple of links this is a blog” bullshit, and is on its way to being what I think a blog should be - worth reading.- a daily punch in the gut with articles and comments on the weird fucking world we live in from an Amp’s-eye point of view. When there is a truly exceptional opportunity for pussy, like the hi-res shots of Britney’s shit-stained front door I ran last week, that of course goes in too. I even went down to the 99¢ store and got some new blog software. I hope you like the new look.

So here is the question Amplanders - Do you like the new look? Want to see even more fresh perspectives, weird fucking stories, peep-shots at my life, rare pics and videos , bizarre news, etc? Or should I shut the fuck up and just deliver a couple of gallery links like all the other blogs do? Speak up Ampland! How are we doing?
