So I’m looking at fuel alternatives. Energy produced by oil is my preference BUT it’s getting ridiculously expensive. Tomorrow I’ll give my thoughts about oil producing nations, but today I’m just gonna talk about cars and energy for our homes.
I remember 30 years ago when I was in school that we were shown all these films about “new” energy sources and they predicted that by the 1980’s we would be out of oil and we would all be using solar power.
It never happened.
Why? Because oil is fucking cheap to process and they can sell it to us. Whereas the sun is something that is always free.
I’m sure that one day…when the oil companies and those motherfucking sheiks in the middle east get the last bit of money they can out of oil…THEN they will unleash all of this “new” technology for solar, hydrogen, bio-diesel and all the other energy sources that are already there. And I’m also certain that they will have some sort of “licensing” fee that we will all have to pay every month (just like our power bill) to be able to “use” their equipment to harness the sun for our homes.
